This is an interdisciplinary work carried out by pupils belonging to the classes 3° 4° 5° of section A  IPSAA Silvestri in Naples, coordinate seat of  Licola (Pozzuoli). This website is carried out by prof. Roberto Chimenti, inside organic project of the INSTRUCTIVE OFFER for the shool year 1999-2000. For the english version thanks to prof. Carmela Portanova and the pupil Sara Coccos.

The  involved pupils have carried out long historical researches and many cultural trip to present this final work with a lot of original contribution (such as photos-texts) even if in some cases used materials found during the said researches.

What is presented in this website wants to be share to the knowledge of this wonderful land which is perhaps a little bit understimated and not fully exploited for its numerous historical and landscape resources.

We don't mean to show you the various Archaeological and natural sites with an abundance of details, but we only want (through this work) people who have never known these places, can appreciate the beauty and the importance of this wonderful combination of history, natural beauty, archaeological ruins, vulcanic phenomenom, rich vegetation, Myths and legends unique in Italy and in the world.
